Italy

Italy is definitely one of the most interesting European countries for flying - medieval cities, historical monuments, the unique city of Venice, the only active volcanoes in Europe outside Iceland, beautiful islands, mountains, WWII historical places etc.

I flew over at least some part of Italy many times during the "European Islands from the Skies" expedition so more photos are in the Expedition section. However, here are some interesting photos taken during my earlier flights over Italy.
