I have never landed in Switzerland because it is compulsory to go through a customs check before departing for and from Switzerland as it is not part of the EU/Schengen custom union. There is one solution to make the procedure easier – you can fly to Basel which is a French/Swiss airport. So one can land on the French side, walk through a gate to Switzerland and take a train to Zurich or Bern.
