Finding aeronautical charts for Scandinavian countries is quite difficult. I had to buy them through a UK based pilot shop. Once you have overcome these problems you can fly over the most beautiful mountains, fjords and glaciers one can imagine. The only problem is selecting the right timing because the weather is quite often difficult. I had two sunny days out my full week in Norway and Sweden but these two days were definitely worth it... As for the airports - it is good to buy a weekly card which covers landing fees at all Norwegian airports for a week - so you don´t need to bother with looking for the office, filling out forms and paying the invoices which is what happens in most European countries.

On my trip to Scandinavia in 2013 I flew up to Narvik which is, after Murmansk, the second northernmost harbour in Europe with full year operation.
