Flight over Africa from the other seat

My wife felt that my articles are lacking any emotions and do not show what she felt – stress and, at times, fear. So she wrote this article which I then supplied with some more photos of the South Africa/Namibia/Botswana/Tanzania trip. The article is a bit emotional to me but it may better reflect the feelings a non pilot may have during the long hours of flight over the hot African continent. My wfie had done some more flying with me after that trip but about a year ago she decided she had done enough of flying to demonstrate her devotion and stopped altogether.
